Hello - All,
Just got my cd for new Ubuntu and like the way it works on my Dell 4550, but - I can't save any sessions to the live CD, right?
IE, flash is not installed in firefox - when I do it's lost next time I run the CD. SO-nothing can be saved in live sessions, right?
I want a duel boot on 2nd HD to learn and play with. I have Partition Magic 8 but never used it, afraid to!!! How many GB should I use for Ubuntu?
I really want Ubuntu on my HP/compaq presario V2630 US laptop, but it won't see the wireless feature. I know there's problems with the broadcom cards, but if one can't get on the internet to d/l the fix? How do I do it??? I was sure hoping Ubuntu 7.04 would have fixed that?
Enjoyed your show, Marcel with Carey on Computer America the 15th, since there are no local Dallas stations that carry the program, I have to listen to the mp3's.
